Three women from Nabarangpur, Odisha — identified as Susanthi, Pushpa Latha, and Manisha — were apprehended after Leo signaled the presence of narcotics during an unannounced sweep of halted trains on Monday evening. “Leo zeroed in on the hidden bags like a pro. Without him, this haul might’ve slipped through,” said Inspector M.V. Durga Rao of the Railway Police. The suspects confessed that the contraband had been handed over to them by a man named Bola at Visakhapatnam station. Authorities estimate the street value of the ganja at ₹1.5 lakh (1500 euro/1700 US dollar). All three individuals have been charged under the NDPS Act, and the case has been presented before the court.
